DESCRIPTION

This car has undergone a complete body-off restoration by Rick's Hi-Desert Custom, our US-based partner. It has been returned to its original spectacular turquoise colour inside and out. Finished in a show-quality 2-pac paint job including the chassis, underside and firewall.

We instructed Rick, the owner of Rick's Hi-Desert Custom, to spare no expense with this restoration. That means a completely new interior including boot carpet, new glass all around (except for the rear window which is perfect), new or re-furbished stainless trim and bumpers, new knobs, gauge lenses, door handles and window winders, etc, etc.

The matching numbers 283 ci V8 has been completely rebuilt by Ol' School Garage's resident engine guru Craig 'Jackie' Johnston. The rebuild included a heap of performance 'goodies' including:

- Block bored 80 thou over - 295 (4.8L)
- Fully balanced and blueprinted
- 3-angle valve job
- Lunati Voodoo cam
- COMP Cam valve springs
- Edelbrock Performer EPS manifold
- Holley 570 CFM Street Avenger
- 4-into-1 Hedman headers
- Custom 2.5 inch exhaust

This is one tough small block! The power front disc brake conversion will ensure the stopping power will match engine performance. The 2 inch drop spindles and new alloy rims complement the car's low aggressive stance.

This car has been delivered to the lucky owner with test miles only on the speedo. Essentially a new car.

The photos show the painstaking effort and attention to detail which has gone into this restoration project.
