This custom build was inspired by owner's daughter, who suffered catastrophic brain injury during labour. It was a moment that changed everything for the family. Cailin now lives with multiple disabilities, including cerebral palsy and frequent seizures. Mark has always had a dream close to his heart: to take Cailin on a cruise in his dream car, just the two of them. That dream has now become a reality.

Body & Exterior

The 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe started with a fibreglass ’34 body featuring suicide doors - the only second-hand component in the build, remarkably clean for its age. A fibreglass ’34 bonnet has been seamlessly blended with a ’32 grille and firewall, creating a unique one-off hot rod. The vehicle was painted in a striking PPG Chevrolet Rapid Blue colour with a pearl overlay that gives the car a shimmering, eye-catching presence. Mounted on a Deuce Customs chassis, the coupe perfectly balances classic style with a modern stance. Pro Drag wheels wrapped in Nexen tyres complete the exterior, while LED lighting, satin-painted chrome, and bike-style wheel guards highlight the meticulous attention to detail.

Engine & Drivetrain

Powering the coupe is a Holden 6.0L LS2 engine topped with a BDS 671 supercharger, paired with a custom Joe Blo hidden EFI system neatly integrated into the Enderle hat. A GM 4L60E transmission with a 10” high stall torque converter transfers power to a Ford 9” LSD differential, making for a reliable, high-performance driveline. Every component was carefully selected to balance raw power with dependability, ensuring the car excels both on the road and in the show arena.

Suspension & Braking

The coupe features a fully tuned suspension setup with a 4-link coilover rear and an independent front suspension (IFS) coilover setup, designed for precision handling and smooth ride quality. The rear and front suspension components provide stability and control, complementing the car’s high-performance drivetrain. Braking components were chosen to ensure stopping power matches the vehicle’s speed capabilities.

Interior & Trim

Inside, the hot rod balances raw power with functional comfort. SAAS bucket seats work well with custom black carpet and trim, complemented by a hidden subwoofer and amplifier delivering crisp sound. Modern amenities include a rear-mounted A/C and heating system, a 7” Holley digital dash, and an American Auto wire loom for a clean, contemporary setup. Special attention was given to accessibility: the passenger seat is fully engineered to slide and swivel outward, allowing Cailin - who has no body control - to safely and comfortably enjoy every drive.

Custom Touches

The build showcases numerous personal and inventive touches. Bike-style wheel guards, satin-painted chrome, LED lighting, and a reworked firewall highlight the meticulous craftsmanship. A custom EFI fuel tank and a bug catcher concealing a functional air cleaner demonstrate thoughtful engineering. Every detail, from accessibility features to visual aesthetics, reflects a build designed not just for performance, but for shared memories and meaningful experiences between father and daughter.
